Retract patio awning and lock arms into travel position⚠️ Critical

Roll in completely, ensure fabric is centered, and verify travel locks snap closed.

Pack camp chairs, outdoor mat, grill, and bicycles into cargo bays

Ensure heavy items are low and centered over trailer axles.

Open BLACK tank valve first and let drain completely⚠️ Critical

Drain toilet waste first while observation elbow is clear.

Close black valve, then open GRAY tank valve to flush hose with soapy water⚠️ Critical

Soapy sink/shower water naturally rinses the sewer hose walls clean.

Close both waste valves and securely latch RV sewer outlet cap

Ensure bayonet pins on cap are tight to prevent drips during transit.

Rinse sewer hose, cap both ends, and store in bumper/exterior tube

Store completely separate from fresh water hoses and interior compartments.

Turn OFF water heater switches (Electric and LP Gas)

Shut down heating elements before disconnecting freshwater supply.

Turn off campground spigot, depressurize, and pack drinking hose & regulator

Open an outside shower faucet to release line pressure before unscrewing hose fittings.

Turn OFF pedestal breaker, unplug cord, and pack surge protector

Always trip pedestal breaker to OFF before pulling the plug.

Crank closed all roof vents and ceiling skylights⚠️ Critical

Confirm covers are locked tight against aerodynamic highway buffeting.

Engage refrigerator door travel latch

Prevent spills and food damage during turns.

Turn OFF 12V water pump switch

Prevents accidental water flow if a faucet jiggles open in transit.

Fold up solid entrance steps and lock deadbolt on main door

Fold steps into frame, latch handle, and secure door deadbolt.

Raise all 4 stabilizer jacks completely to travel position

Crank stabilizers all the way up so they do not drag over speed bumps.

Hitch trailer: lock coupler latch, insert safety pin, cross chains, attach breakaway⚠️ Critical Safety

Follow complete hitching protocol before touching wheel chocks.

Plug 7-pin electrical cord and test all turn signals & brake lights⚠️ Critical

Never leave the campsite without a visual light confirmation.

Remove wheel chocks LAST once combination is fully secured to tow vehicle⚠️ Mandatory Sequence

Never pull chocks until coupler is locked and chains are connected.

Perform final campsite sweep: look for forgotten blocks, dog gear, or trash

Walk the perimeter to ensure you Leave No Trace.
