TravelWithTOW is built around useful, current and trustworthy information for the RV community.
These Guidelines apply to reviews, photos, reports, updates, new place submissions, questions, answers and other contributions.
1. Be Accurate #
Only submit information you reasonably believe is true.
Do not intentionally submit false information, fake prices, fake amenities, misleading photos, fake visit dates or false ownership claims.
If you are unsure, say so instead of guessing.
2. Share Real Experiences #
Reviews should reflect genuine experiences.
Do not:
- • review places you never visited as if you had;
- • coordinate fake reviews;
- • manipulate ratings;
- • repeatedly post the same review;
- • provide dishonest reviews for compensation.
3. Photos #
Only upload photos you own or are authorized to use.
Useful photos include:
- • entrance;
- • roads;
- • campsites;
- • hookups;
- • bathrooms;
- • laundry;
- • pool;
- • playground;
- • dump station;
- • store;
- • views.
Do not upload copyrighted, misleading, unrelated, illegal or inappropriate images.
4. Respect Privacy #
Do not publish private addresses, private phone numbers, financial data, passwords, identity documents or sensitive personal information belonging to other people.
5. Keep Contributions Useful #
TravelWithTOW is not a general social network.
Contributions should help RV travelers understand places, plan trips, evaluate services or correct outdated information.
Spam and irrelevant promotion may be removed.
6. Business Owners and Managers #
Verified representatives may update business information, upload official photos and respond to reviews.
They may not manipulate ratings, remove legitimate criticism, create fake reviews or pressure users to modify honest reviews.
7. TOW Points #
Points reward useful participation.
Points may be withheld or removed for spam, duplicates, false information, manipulation or fraudulent contributions.
Point farming may result in restrictions.
8. Trust Score #
Trust Score reflects contribution history.
Attempts to manipulate it are prohibited.
9. Adding New Places #
Eligible users may suggest new places.
Submissions may be rejected if they are duplicates, closed, unverifiable, irrelevant to RV travel, residential-only or intentionally misleading.
10. Respectful Conduct #
Do not use TravelWithTOW to harass, threaten, discriminate, impersonate, scam, defame or intimidate users or businesses.
Disagreement is allowed. Abuse is not.
11. Moderation #
TravelWithTOW may approve, reject, request clarification, remove, restore or limit contributions.
12. Repeated Violations #
Violations may result in warnings, reduced privileges, lost points, Trust Score adjustments, suspension or termination.
13. Reporting Content #
Reports must be made in good faith.
Abuse of reporting tools may itself be treated as a violation.
14. Changes #
These Guidelines may evolve as TravelWithTOW grows.
